A+E Networks announced today that it will be partnering with R-time for ad-sales in Hungary. From January 1st, 2019, leading sales house R-time will support ad sales activities in Hungary for HISTORY – A+E Networks’ flagship factual entertainment channel.
R-time will manage spot sales on the channel and sponsorships.

HISTORY Hungary reaches over 1.7M viewers on a monthly basis in 2018. This year versus the same time last year the channel delivered over 50% growth. Hungarians watch HISTORY for an average of 42 minutes per day, longer than any other competitor factual channel. HISTORY is currently available in Hungary through all major operators like RCS&RDS, UPC, UPC Direct and Magyar Telekom.
This autumn, viewers will enjoy the vast programming offer of HISTORY including the premiere of Ancient Aliens, a popular show which explores the theory of extra-terrestrials visiting Earth for millions of years, Kingpin, a series about the most infamous mobsters of all time including El Chapo and Pablo Escobar, Treasure Hunters a programme commemorating the centenary of WWI and the upcoming 70th anniversary of WW2 and Forged in Fire, an original blade-forging competition series.
HISTORY channel is currently watched in over 300 million households worldwide, entertaining audiences with fascinating shows and top formats including Ancient Aliens, Forged in Fire, Pawn Stars and The Curse of Oak Island.
