Intelligent, provocative, honest and moving. These words perfectly describe I Am, the acclaimed anthology series that COSMO premieres in Spain this Tuesday, May 23 at 10 pm. This British fiction comes to COSMO after winning two BAFTA Awards: Best Singles Drama and Best Actress for Kate Winslet, who dedicated the award to her daughter and co-star, Mia Threapleton.

Each episode of I Am tells the extraordinary story of a woman facing an extreme situation in her life. A spectacular cast including Kate Winslet (Mare of Easttown), Vicky McClure (Line of Duty), Samantha Morton (The Walking Dead), Gemma Chan (Eternals), Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster), Letitia Wright (Black Panther) and Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread) star in this drama, a collection of authentic, poignant and deeply personal tales of the experience of women in the 21st century.

Award-winning screenwriter and director Dominic Savage (The Escape) has created this show in close collaboration with each of the leading actresses, addressing issues that affect or resonate with them in a special way: from relationships and mental health to empowerment and the dangers of social media. These stories, partly autobiographical, have been filmed in a naturalistic style that evokes the documentary format.

Throughout its three seasons, I am has garnered excellent reviews, which highlight both the magnificent performances of the actresses and the ability of this show to offer unique, realistic and truthful stories with an authenticity rarely seen on television.
