It was announced today (11th of March 2024) that A+E Networks EMEA has ordered a new two-part true crime Special from Transistor Films, the makers of Crime+Investigation’s highly-rated Bubble & Squeak Murder: The Killing of David Jackson and Body in the Suitcase: The Murder of Deborah Chong.

Co-produced by Kremplewood, Live Stream Killer follows the investigation into the horrific killing of Natalie McNally, who was fifteen weeks pregnant when she was stabbed to death on 18th December 2022, at her home in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the same style as Transistor Film’s previous true crime Specials, Live Stream Killer will follow step-by-step the painstaking work of the police teams as they sift the evidence in this complex and unprecedented case.

Dan Korn, Vice President of Programming at A+E Networks EMEA, said, “We’re delighted to be working again with Transistor on a case not only of great poignancy and public interest, but also setting a new benchmark in terms of the intricacy and complexity of the evidence involved”.

Danny Tipping, MD at Transistor Films said: “This devasting story is indicative of an alarming number of femicide cases in the U.K. and we’re grateful Crime+Investigation is providing us with the opportunity to explore this further whilst raising awareness. It also highlights the groundbreaking work the police are doing with digital forensics in what is likely to be a landmark case”.

The two-part special was commissioned, and executive produced by Dan Korn, VP of Programming at A+E Networks EMEA, with Diana Carter, Commissioning Editor and Head of Talent at A+E Networks EMEA.

Live Stream Killer will premiere on Crime + Investigation later in 2024.
