London, Friday 10 March 2017: Nicolas Eglau, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Nordics, Benelux and CEEMA at A+E Networks UK, is stepping down to pursue new challenges.
He will remain affiliated with A+E Networks UK as an advisor to the Leadership team until 31 August to secure a smooth transition. Further announcements will follow regarding new appointments to take on Eglau’s responsibilities.

I am pleased that Nicolas will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity through to the summer.”

Nicolas Eglau has managed A+E Networks UK’s operating and commercial units in the UK and other territories including Finance, Legal, Operations, Strategy, Distribution and Ad Sales. He also served as General Manager, Nordics, Benelux and CEEMEA, overseeing the company’s offices in Copenhagen, Warsaw, Amsterdam and Johannesburg.
Eglau joined A+E Networks UK from RTL Netherlands after serving five years as a member of the Executive Board and Managing Director, Ventures. Previously, he was Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe for RTL Group in Luxembourg. Prior to joining RTL Group, Eglau held a Corporate Development position with Kirch Holding in Munich.
