London, Monday 13 March 2017: Dean Possenniskie, MD of A+E Networks EMEA, has announced a new expanded Leadership Team at A+E Networks UK.

The company has promoted Adrian Pilkington to the position of SVP Commercial Strategy & General Manager (GM), Nordic, Benelux, Middle East and Africa.

Izabella Wiley, currently GM of A+E Networks Poland, takes on a wider remit with a promotion to the position of GM Poland & Central and Eastern Europe. 

Current VP of Finance Mark Neil is promoted to VP Finance, Legal and Operations. 

All three will report to Dean Possenniskie. They join the existing members of the A+E Networks UK Leadership Team: Heather Jones, SVP Content & Creative and GM UK; and Karl Burnett, VP Human Resources. 

Dean Possenniskie said: “I’m delighted to welcome Adrian, Izabella and Mark to A+E Network UK’s Leadership Team. Each has made an impressive contribution to our business and I look forward to working with them to deliver on our ambitious growth plans for the UK and our international markets.”

Adrian Pilkington will be responsible for the company’s commercial strategy, including Channel Distribution, Digital Distribution and Ad Sales. He will also serve as General Manager for the Nordics, the Benelux, Middle East and Africa, overseeing the company’s offices and local teams in Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Johannesburg.

Izabella Wiley joined as GM Poland in 2013 and has successfully built A+E’s Warsaw office and portfolio of channels in Poland. She will now extend her remit across A+E’s central and eastern European territories.

Mark Neil will now be responsible for Operations and Legal along with leading the Finance Team. This promotion comes just three months after joining the broadcaster from Scripps, where he had a similar remit as CFO.
