LONDON, 18 August 2015: A+E Networks has promoted Anna Priest to the newly created role of Vice President of Global Brands.
Reporting to Amanda Hill, Chief Creative Officer International at A+E Networks, Priest will be responsible for setting the company’s 3-5 year global brand strategies and marketing plans and will work with senior colleagues across the business to build brand excellence across the international marketing network. She will also review new ways to develop and expand the growth and impact of A+E Networks and will champion the company’s global corporate social responsibility programmes.
Priest will also maintain her current remit at A+E Networks UK, overlooking marketing, communications and digital activity, reporting to Heather Jones, SVP Content and Creative.
Commenting on her promotion, Anna Priest said: “I am delighted to extend my current remit to influence and impact the future success of A+E Networks on a global level. I look forward to working with the hugely talented teams in the US and across the world to grow our brand equity and footprint across all media.”
This announcement follows the recent senior management restructure at A+E Networks UK, which saw the appointment of Dean Possenniskie as Managing Director.

Priest joined A+E Networks UK in October 2011 from the BBC where she was Head of Marketing, Superbrands and Portfolio overseeing the channel’s biggest brands including Doctor Who, Top Gear and Strictly Come Dancing. She previously held senior marketing positions at BBC Three, Comic Relief and Radio One. Priest takes up the new role from 1 September 2015.
